Christianity is Conflict

Christianity is Conflict. It’s Conflict. I’ve been ruminating on this reality over the last few days. As men of God we are to be standard bearers within a terminally corrupt world. We are to proclaim and display the immovable principles of the Most High in a society that is bent toward Wickedness and Rebellion. By doing so we place ourselves in direct opposition to all cultures and ideologies that reject the truth of the living God. Unfortunately in today’s world there are generations of men that have abdicated that responsibility. Instead of exemplifying biblical standard, they adopt the mannerisms and mindset of the world around them. Instead of boldly setting the tone for their households, community and circle of influence, they placate. Many will misconstrue scripture, proclaiming themselves peacemakers when in reality they’re bending the knee to the kingdom of darkness. Cowardly submitting to the ruler of this world. As men we are called to be warriors in a spiritual battle. We are to face the evil of this world unapologetically standing on the Word of God. Scripture tells us to put on the armor of God and to wield the word like a sword against Satan and his minions. We are spiritual soldiers and cowardice before the enemy is sin.
