Random Thought: Some men with a father wound can have a chip on their shoulder. There can be a sense of entitlement, as if the world owes them something. I was ruminating on this idea yesterday and realized, in a sense, they are right. They are owed something. They are owed, love, guidance, confirmation and support. They are owed a debt. They have been robbed of their sense of identity, sense of purpose, emotional and mental health. They are owed the years they have struggled to overcome the emotional scars with which they have been saddled. Unfortunately, either by absence or apathy the person that owes them can never repay. The fathers that failed to father well, cannot and in some instances will not, make up for the hurt they caused. The only entity that can pay that debt is the one that sent his son to pay for it back on Calvary. To all the men hurting and waiting on a father. The solution is to turn to the True Father.
